Oops… my thumb didn’t cooperate! As I was saying, if more earnest folks expressed their earnestness, the whole world would be so much better! No more “deep fakes,” no more saber rattling, we could just listen in confidence that we are hearing someone’s genuine thought or opinion.
And isn’t that what you artists and writers bring to our community? Art is earnest! That’s why a contrived or awkward “slogan” never fits an artist.
